The second part

I’m not sure how open some of my friends are to a game of Blog-Tag but here goes:

[Five things about Gary that relatively few people or blog readers know:]

1. I forgot to take my towel into the shower one day at MIA camp in year 8.  Thanks George, saved my life (boarder George)
2. I didn’t know what spam was until about last year – spam as in spiced ham (a few days later i laughed at Paul Pham because he didnt know what spam was when asked xD)
3. I am not rich! Ha take that everyone, bet you didnt see that one coming (:
4. I am very compulsive and a perfectionist as a result. Everything has to be done right ><

Blog tagging frenzy

Dear Emm,                 (btw I am unsure who this person may be =/)

I don’t really know how to tell you this, but I dislike you.  I think I realized it when I tripped on sesame seeds under the bus and I saw you carve your initials into my avocado plant. I’m sure you’re frostbitten enough to understand that there is no solution to this.  I’m returning your love letters to you, but I’ll keep my virginity  as a memory. You should also know that I always will remember the apartment building.

Go and drown yourself,
-Gary-

As for the second blog tag I’ll come up with something soon – its quite hard ><

Six Extraordinary years !

YEAR 7:

It was only 6 years ago that I walked into the big and scary environment of a high school – that being Hurlstone Agricultural High School. The only person I knew was Sean Davies (same primary school) so on the first day we just sat on a random aluminium seat….only to be kicked of seconds later by scary towering year 12 boarders ! ><” ( I was only like 140cm back then..)

I was part of class 7Y. This is where I first met Hieu, Gavin, Tim, Nelson and many more..these were my first new friends of high school! I got scared when Anthony Defilipis asked me for my home phone and address on the first day of school “Uhh, I dont really know you yet” I replied.

Some notable memories of year 7:
- Trish running nearly running Miss Boyd over with a tractor
- Both Anthony’s suspended for fighting each other
- Mr Sunna taking over our maths class for a while >.>” (hated that guy)
- Nelson strangling Sam around the neck after a dispute in handball (or was it the other way around?)
- 5 mins joke time at the end of english with Miss Firmstone (this ended when jankowski took over our class :( )
- The Mr. Frawley and Jess Bent fiasco

YEAR 8:

- Hieu introduced me to the basketball courts – where I met pretty much all the asians
- Viet’s renowned “Sup dawg” line.
- The rivalry between Viet and Stayte and Stayte first came down
- The Mocha cupboard =D (i never drank one =p)
- Days of 50c bets in 13
- Dreams plasma television and air con in the “cage”
- Phillip bashing Don
- MIA (slept in staytes tent – dennis was there too)
- Stayte and myself unpegging Daniel Luongs tent countless times “Yeah we’re fixing it Daniel *tent falls over xP)
- Russell Millar laughing at him once – followed by a crazy Daniel Luong chasing after Russell with a hammer in his hands
- Viet and Sam farting all night
- Maths with Mr. Faulds – that guy smashed the white board every lesson – we wondered when he’d break through O_o
- Sent out of Mr Chapmans Geography class for farting >.>”

YEAR 9:
- The days of 9N
- Helen Phelps arguing with Mr Spies almost every lesson
- Days of basketball began to intensify – Dmac started coming down – he would get owned by us.
- We’d occasionally vs the year 10′s (grade above us)
- Days of B2 english – boarders annoying Ms Young – not a good working environment
- Mr. Carter for commerce – “you look at me, I look at you…”
- IPT started with Mr. Payne – most of us were motivated
- Sam hit a shot in the very last game of intermediate basketball
- James Meehan intermediate team with a 190cm built Islander (O_O GG D-mac)
- Ironically his name was Phillip
- Year 9 camp at Jindabyne
- Our roommates decided to start rumbling at random
- Geerlo walks in “Pwoah, why’s it so hot in here boys”
- Akshay playing a prank on Phillip scaring him shitless “Hide under the bed! Jump out the window! WHAT?! You dont fit?!”
- Me stealing paper money off people then getting told off >.>”
- Snowball fights ganged up against Phillip
- Phillip putting a banana condom in his mouth during Commerce ==”
- McCord for year 9 Ag – nuff said
- Josa constantly offering money to play games on my mobile
- Hieu dislocating his knee and breaking his arm/wrist whilst playing basketball against me (felt bad for ya man! hope you get well =p)

YEAR 10:

- 10E was the best class ever so far…
-Emergence of tub, smug and chu
- First prac lesson in Ag 6 boys namely Phillip, Gavin, Hieu, Ken, Willo and myself were chatting…3 got sent to an empty paddock Gavin, Hieu and Phillip. LOLOLOL! Me ken willo couldnt stop laughing at them.
- Roslyn pushing Gavin out of the way “Ive got it under control !!” (even with a broken arm…well sohhh-ry)
- Eva hypothetically asking Pitt about conceiving with another half caste.
Eva: whats the chances of getting a full asian or full white baby
Mr Pitt: I’m not sure….its probably around one in 64 million
Phillip (to me): Better get started then Gary
Me: =.=”
- Jeremy and Chet testing out Kim Phams reactions to pissing her off.
- Jeremy and Chet constantly arguing and getting sent out by Schippers.
- Schippers class owning as a group compared to the rest of hte grade in Ag =DD (We had 1st 2nd and equal 4ths LOLOL)
- Constantly clouding Seans’ replies to roll call “Oww” (Phillip, Ken, Gavin Hieu get this =p)
- Winning Edmonson Zone comfortably 72-2 iin the final ( I got a mouthful for hitting a 3 at the end so it wasnt 69-2 xDD)
- Preg testing – brave ken and hieu took part (Y)
- Ranga bitch for PE
- End of year survey for PE – “What would you like improved about PE?” , “LESS STRETCHING !!!”
- We ended it up writing “NO STRETCHING” across every single white space on that poor piece of paper
- She had a forehead cancer removed (Ranga bitch)
Hayato throws a stick
Ranga bitch: Excuse me, come here ! That could have hit me and opened my stitches
Hayato: I threw it in the opposite direction.
- SEAN LY  SLIDE TACKLING AKSHAY !!! LOLOLOL CLASSIC
- Sean Ly falling over every PE lesson be it back peddalling, walking or running
- Touching the basketball ring towards the end of year 10 ^^
- by then it was only Hieu and Phillip who couldnt reach
- defeating phillip 5-0 in a 1v1 match under one minute
- everyone thinking Tien was gay when he first came (thankfully disproven – he is a great guy)
-Tien sitting behind Akshay with a boner O_O
- Googs and myself have green pea wars with Canada and Hamer during Miss Littles English class across the room

YEAR 11:
- Phillip, Sam and myself constantly chatting in economics – Roche: How about you shut up! every lesson =p
- Gavin and myself constantly being told off in chem for chatting
- getting banned on gunbound – nice daniel le xD
- Genetics Prac – Darren: Tien! You can’t get random babies from specified parents
- Year 11 camp: singing in the rain after playing european handball all night at the hall

- Zach Young trying to climb into our room through the window
- Tien and Gavin rumbling (Tien in boxers >.>”) nice positions boys =D
- Akshay gundi nathan josa and boateng joining our room for fights

Yay!

Well, there’s only four more days of school together people!  I am really excited about the events that are gonna take place this week. But, I will also be very sad to part ways with everyone. Most importantly those who have been there with me from the start of our Hurlstone lives back in year 7, you guys have been the best all the way! and also those who have joined the family along the way be it in year 8, 9, 10 or 11 you guys have all been awesomee! (: I am gonna miss you all so much!

I am slightly disheartened that I can’t wear my summer uniform tomorrow but its all for a good cause – Muck up day!! =D I’ll get around in the snazzy winter uniform and I still promise to deliver those summer uniforms.

Can’t wait for muck-up day aka give crancher hell. It’s gonna be awesomee playing pranks on her all day ^^

Fridays assembly plan to hide all the bags failed because Beek was lurking around main quad :(   George and I were excited that we got back in time to see the prank, only to find out that Beek was on top of the situation >.>”

Anyways, I hope nothing will stop us on Tuesday. Wednesday’s boarder daygo rugby match I think we are ready to go. Everyones been putting in the hard yards at training – however we have had a few casualties during these sessions – Hieu, Fahim which have been significant blows to our preparations. All the best for a speedy recovery! As for me I’m looking around for cheap boots and some footy shorts lying around the house somewhere. I think the lineups are going to be finalised soon as well, I have been shifted around 5 different spots in the lineup >< but they should be finalised now.

Thats all from me today, Hopefully my quest to solve some problems this week succeeds – some of you may know what I’m on about.

See yous at school tmr

Title..?

Its been ages since I last blogged :( I am  extremely lazy…apologies to all blog stalkers, regular viewers and any others who have a vested interest in my life.

My high from years ago almost is long gone now…I’m just back to normal I guess. However, I am looking forward to alot of things in the not too distant future. For example, muck-up day – whenever that turns out to be, cross dressing =p and boarder daygo =D

I really can’t be bothered recounting what happened in the last week, although dont get me wrong a great deal has happened. Anyone ever experienced the glass wall treatment or dished it out on someone ? Quite a feeling, whichever position you’ve been in. I, myself have been on both positions at some stage in my life. I admit I hate being in both positions, its pretty pointless. But thats life, what goes around comes around.

On a lighter note, I decided to start a trend today – wearing the summer uniform again for our very quickly diminishing days at Hurlstone Ag High. Only two people followed suit, which was a poor turnout – Sam and Tien (who thought i was pulling a prank on him at first xD) It is quite relieving wearing summer uniform despite the number of complaints and questions I got concerning it (besides the ever shrinking shorts >.>”). I tended to feel much younger wearing the summer uniform and much more happier. I guess it was nostalgia, bringing me back to the junior days of wearing khaki uniform ^_^ Hopefully, more people will wear their summer uniform in the days to come, to finish off our high school lives.

Tomorrow’s footy training after lunch. I am looking forward to it as we are versing the year 11 boarders. I am looking forward to venting during this session by possibly laying it into a few of them. Everyone better be fired up for tomorrow’s encounter or we will have no chance of winning next Wednesday. Tackle the legs boys LEGS !! I hope to get a few practice drop goals in tomorrow too..need to extend my range to about 30-35m out for satisfaction. I am expecting a large turnout for the match and for everyone to be motivated despite Gundi’s absence at tutor (LOLOL who would have thought !).

Few other things playing on my mind as well…finishing the Co-op application by friday, paying for formal bits and pieces, finding a suit that matches my dates outfit, going to court in the not too distant future and that particular personal issue. But I’m sure ill manage through the 7 more exciting school days I will have with all my friends :) Should be great!

Happy belated birthdays to those who I have missed (stupid lazy me) Lisa (10th), Sam (10th) and Hieusy (13th). Hope you guys had awesome days! Sorry if i forgot anyone! Let me know if i missed you and ill make a special mention =]

anyways catch yous all later

A Rollercoaster of Events

Sorry all blog readers! I have been lazy as of late and not blogged as a result :(

Last time I blogged was last Wednesday, so its been just about a week…i promise a longer blog (lots has happened! ^^)

Saturday was the UNSW Open Day, and what a horrendous day it turned out to be ! I think the gods were shining on USyd since they got the awesome spring weather.  It didnt surprise me how many disposed umbrellas i came across, I managed to prevent mine from deforming with the extremely strong winds! rawr! I am happy to have gone to these open days, they have really helped me narrow down the list of things I’m considering to do at uni. Thanks to all those who persuaded me to come ! =D its been worth my while (yours too of course =p). I managed to get as many info booklets and freebies as I could find as well as get some free food. I have discovered a passion for chemical engineering/industrial chemistry following the intriguing conversation with a nice guy named Greg. Finance and actuarial studies are just as appealing to me, so i think i have narrowed my choices down !

I lost Willo and Peter Pham somewhere in the roundhouse haha (gosh that place was crowded) and went upstairs to the computer engineering section only to find more familiar faces. George managed to steal a T-shirt from them (Y) true asian. I was intrigued by a lifesaving game (it was 2D but still fun!) that I was playing with Maggie (at least the guys tht drowned weren’t real people Maggie LOL!)

Can’t believe the weather on Sunday, I slept in till 1pm on a perfectly fine day! Why couldnt Saturday and Sunday SWAP ! T_T”

Monday was pretty ordinary as far as I can remember! Except for footy training that arvo. There was a good turnout for the training which made it all the more better. We ran through some passing and tackling drills and exercises to brush up a few rusty areas before we got into a proper game. Carter wants to take a look at our side next Friday which should be good. I am so excited about boarder v daygo, I have now shifted to playing fullback (previously five-eighth). If we keep working on our tackling I reckon the daygo’s are a huge chance of taking it for the 6th year running.

I was made aware of a particular event that occurred today that I shan’t discuss :) Hope you’re feeling better, you know who you are.  Basketball>footy tomorrow though! I miss playing a proper game.

Anyways I have been very slack on work lately. I now have about 4 business essays, 5 chemistry sheets and 2 pracs, and about a gazillion mechanics questions to do. The HSC is so overwhelming and it sucks how we are getting dumped with stacks of work because classes are falling behind on time. I feel sorry for those people especially who do all 3 sciences….stacks of work to do in such little time. Its pretty ridiculous. I actually enjoy coming to school just to see the friendly faces of everybody, it really takes your mind off your HSC woes :) <3 yous all :)

That seems like quite a long blog :) Time to get some stuff done. Ciao

Juniors are GAY!

Hi All, back once again to bitch, blab, bore you maybe but most importantly to let it all out :)

I am a strong supporter of my title as are most people in Year 12 I’d assume. I had a free period (or STUDY period as the assistant librarian tells me it is >.>) 3rd period before lunch and decided to cut out of it a few minutes earlier than bell time to get a decent position in the line for the cash register. I intended to pay the remaining $66 of my formal payment only to arrive with the line ALREADY back at the hall of honour only seconds after the bell went…like wtf juniors, who cares about Movie Arvo – the GamePlan is shit! Deepest of apologies to any Year 12′s who like or are intending to see it :)

I guess today was a great day despite that small hiccough. I have formal transport arrangements down pat now after a few persuasive conversations. Many of you have probably noticed or heard from people that I have been on an unreal high for the past six days? (since Friday anyways) and have yet to encounter something that would place that high in peril ;) I hope it lasts forever ! Sadly i highly doubt it and a bit concerned that I might fall pretty bad…=/ I passed up footy training/basketball this arvo to head up to Livo (opportunity costs xD – economics, gosh so lame… >.>) to enjoy some time away from school. We watched Tropic Thunder at Livo Westfields which turned out to be okay. It was extremely stupid which made it funny I guess, despite the mostly negative comments most people have told me about it.

Sam departed follwing the movie to go tut and the rest of us went searching for something special ;) We only did a small amount of formal shopping (mostly browsing) but a few things still managed to catch my eye. Hope to go back soon =p Discuss with me if you wish!

Finally, Darren gave me some money to buy the 2u Phoenix book of sample questions. Dymocks and Angus and Robertson failed to have any (soz Daz :(   ). They suck :( Luckily i didn’t get rolled ahahah, cos i was carrying around ALOT of money that i didnt manage to get rid of.

Word of mention – Willo is the cheapest guy ever (maybe he doesnt beat Elton but he sure comes close ;) )

Enough from me today,

Cya soon, Gaz

Open Days and more…

After completing some Chemistry homework, I thought I’d be able to blog again without any guilt =]

First of all I wanna say CONGRATULATIONS to the Sharks! They won on Friday night quite comfortably 32-6 putting them equal first at the top of the NRL ladder (storm lost too :P ) I am all smiles right now.

Anyways, yesterday was Sydney University’s Open Day Live! It turned out to be much better than I expected =D Thanks to all those people who persuaded me to come! I missed most of the business lectures that I intended to go to but that didn’t ruin my day. Bumping into many familiar faces only made the day better. Most of my day was spent at the engineering section of the complex, where they held a free BBQ, free ice cream, free lollies and free flash drives. I didn’t bother with the flash drives, which turned out to be duds xD Tien began complaining to me about them when he got home “WHAT! They are only 128 mb! LOLOL @ him. Plenty of handy information booklets were to be found at the quadrangle, which did kinda remind me of Hogwarts, Joe! :D

As of yet, the day hasn’t got me any closer to choosing which course I want to take. A combined degree with Medicine requires a 99.95 O_O so I dont think thats within my range :( I am leaning towards a combined engineering/business degree which is a more achievable 95 UAI or so. Having gone to Sydney Uni I am now looking forward to the UNSW open day next week. I shall be there @ 9 when it opens unlike yesterday when i turned up @ 11:30 @.@ so I am able to get to those lecutres i want to and all the other stuff!

School once again tomorrow! Economics trial results will be returned (I am still on a high – fingers crossed that eco doesnt ruin it =) ) Rawson the lazy bum has gone to the snowfields until Tuesday meaning no 4u classes for a few days ( good or bad? *shruggs*) Good I guess. I can catch up on the mountain of Mechanics homework – Hard Mechanics might I add – that he has dumped on us :(

Oh yeah tomorrow is also the first day of SPRING! YAY! I don’t like winter too much, so spring and summer coming up is all thumbs up from me (Y). Happy 18th Birthday to Mark Franco. Have a great day mate and keep it up with the awesome basketball.

Only 19 days or so to get those UNSW co-op Scholarship applications and UAC applications to Ejsak. Better get started!

Thats all from me today, catch yous all later (mostly at school)

Gaz

Ups and Downs

Salutations all! I am back once more,

Its been quite an eventful day today. Much has brought people happiness, but not to mention the despair the day has caused for others :( . I, for one, have had an awesome day. I feel like I’m on an extreme high and not ever gonna come down (it will be hell if i do). Although I am on such a high, I feel sorry for others namely Ken and Sam. These two hit rock-bottom lows today after receiving their physics trial HSC results. This would probably explain their recent self esteem levels, or lack thereof. Chins up boys, can’t stay in the past and live with regret, the only way now is forwards! Stay strong and accept the support from those close to ya! On a side note, some people have a habit of warming you inside and filling you with happiness whenever they talk to you bringing you out of your misery. God bless you people!

My day started off with 2 free period: one actual free period and the USyd seminar during period 2 which i quite liked. Got me into the mood to last the rest of day at school. From here on the day only got better. Some time between period 2 and 3 something interesting and out of hte ordinary happened to me, striking me with great surprise (if you wanna know you gotta ask me and i may tell you). Moving on economics was such a bludge as we just socialised all lesson pretty much (for once booyeah!). Maths followed where i was able to obtain an extra mark in the extension maths exam 66/80. By this point i was at an extreme high, in stark contrast to the two sitting next to me :( I really hope you two recover from this.

After maths Jess Nguy and myself went to the HSIE staffroom to see Mr. Gippel for our business ranks (i wanted to throw mine out as soon as i got it) but I was eventually persuaded to look at it. Dropping only four ranks my mood was further improved :)

Hieu and his camera work at lunch time provided just the right entertainment for the majority of the group xD Pulling random kids from anywhere to act as a Mohey, Gundi, D-mac and Josa when they were in year 7, quite a promo we have in store for the boarder v daygo match! Should be awesome, best of luck to Hieusy, Darren and the rest of the production team!

The week was finished off with a footy match to celebrate Ken Pho’s birthday. Happiest of 18th birthdays to Ken Pho and Tim Sun. Hope you guys had a blast today and best of wishes for your special day! The atmosphere for the footy game wasnt there for the most part of the hour after school. Energy lacked as did the presence of Phillip Chan. You just killed it Phillip. We told you the oval wasn’t wet but nooooo, someone still went home after talking up the footy match, fag. The game was played for a good half hour and then George started bleeding which pretty much ended that game. In short, it was quite boring this arvo.

After telling everyone I wouldn’t be going USyd Open Day tomorrow, I got home with a “You’re getting up early tomorrow for Open Day at USyd” from Mum. So guess what people, I am now going to the open day, goshh what a hassle. Not to worry, I shall be  seeing many familiar faces there tomorrow so its not all bad news :) Somebody help me decide what I wanna do in Uni ~ its so very hard to decide what i want to do >< Im still tossing up between three faculties LOL – engineering, business or sciences (i suck at deciding) and the USyd scholarships want you to nominate one faculty only, what a nightmare. I think i’ll be going to UNSW anyways, i sure hope so.

Anyways, massive blog for me today so i probably wont be on here for a while. Starting to lose motivation to blog ahahaha. So yeah no more once a day blogs :)

Thursday 28th August

Hello again,

I am back once more to “let it all out” so to speak. Seeing as the first post wasn’t a complete failure I have decided to create another. Today we were brought to misery once more receiving our Extension Mathematics marks. In advance I will say that I am sorry to all those people that I beat whilst still feeling shitty about it myself, but I do have very high standards – particularly with Maths so bear with me :) I managed a 65/80 which would seem pretty decent in most eyes, but not mine, with another mark still pending. I am peeved with the amount of silly mistakes creeping back into my exams but I guess we’ve got one more chance to make it all right. I am in awe of Andrew Watts’ performance in both Extension and Extension 2 Mathematics achieving 79/80 and 116/120 respectively – like seriously, that is nuts.

My mood, however, soon changed and I felt pretty good for the remainder of the day. Its really good to know that you have a good group of friends that can make you feel much better even if you are down. Its those sort of people that can really make a difference and I thank you greatly for it. My english rank moved up for once *hooray!* although its a lousy 76th now, I assume thats band 5 range so I am happy with that. Mr Hancock is getting really lazy in class now as we are mostly lounging around and socialising and what not. Trust me its not what you want in the period approaching the HSC.

A friendly reminder to those people who haven’t paid Willo the money, you know who you are and what its for – get it in quick! >=[

I have realised that lately, no matter how much or little I’m sleeping I am still losing concentration at school. For instance, I am constantly falling asleep in Business Studies (no implication that its boring xD) and struggling to keep up with Mr. Carter’s dictation of notes for 50 mins everyday (gosh what a nightmare). But worst of all as Mye and myself were signing out because we had a free period I asked her: “Did you sign Mye off?” (intending to say Mel ><). But wait, there’s more. Mye, Mel and myself were at Glenfield station and just before my train arrived i said “Bye Mel, Bye Melissa” (goshh how silly >.>) Anyways enough of my blonde moments, I don’t want to be known as another Mel zzz

I guess thats all from me today, I’ve got to get more of my mechanics and chem hwk done >< falling behind already after like 3 days, no thanks to facebook or wordpress, but its been worth my while :)

Talk soon hopefully,

Gary
